Although Woman on the Edge of Time
was written in 1976, and Oryx and Crake
and The Year of the Flood
in 2003 and 2009, respectively, they are similar in their dystopian visions of the future. Perhaps reading the three novels within a span of a few weeks wasn't the best idea - rather depressing - but I cannot get the world of Oryx and Crake out of my head.
