Ithaca College: A&E Center
One of my students organized a networking event with The SEEN (Sustainable Enterprise and Entrepreneur Network) held at IC Lounge (formerly the Tower Club) at the top of IC's East Tower. It was a great event; I was able to meet many local business leaders committed to sustainability.
I also used the opportunity to take this birds' eye view picture of the new A&E Center. From street level, I can't say I've been really impressed with the structure, but I like it better from above. It has a certain elegance. Regardless, I'm still disturbed by the phallic protuberance.

Send Silence Packing
According to Active Minds, suicide is the second leading cause of death for college students, accounting for more than 1,100 deaths each year. Send Silence Packing is a traveling exhibit that combines 1,110 backpacks with messages about mental health with the goal of raising awareness and reducing the stigma of seeking help. The exhibit was on display at Ithaca College on Friday.
