"We see the world not as it is, but as we are." ~Anaïs Nin
I found a page of paper with unlabeled notes - was I summarizing a reading? A lecture? A sermon? I'm not sure, but I am intrigued.
Listen so you can:
- solve problems
- sound more intelligent
- appear to be more caring
- be in a better position to negotiate
- benefit from others' experience.
Of course, this does make the act of listening seem a bit manipulative if not Machiavellian!
