Bath City Tour

In addition to sessions and the fancy reception and dinner, I took advantage of a tour arranged through the Bath City Sightseeing Tours. I enjoy getting a bird's eye view and taking pictures from the top berth. We also had an audio tour which had some interesting information.

IABS is definitely my favorite conference. It is small, so you can interact with the other attendees, and it is very international. Our sessions this year are in two venues, Bath's Guildhall and rooms near the Roman Baths. Friday was a long day: a number of sessions, including one in which I presented. We also had the annual Business Meeting after which we had a fun dinner with a small group.

Avebury

IABS often coordinates option tours, and I sign up for as many activities as possible. Today, it was a tour of Lacock Village and Avebury with very knowledgeable tour guide. My only complaint is that the tour was too short!

I am in Bath, England for a conference. It took a long time to travel here... two planes, a bus, and a train.
