URGENT: Action Alert - Iowa Video Bill Passes House

In yet another case of WTF, lawmakers in the Iowa House have passed a bill that would make it a felony to distribute video documenting animal abuse on factory farms. Yes, these elected public representatives are more concerned with protecting the businesses that abuse animals than making the abuse itself a felony. My myriad responses to this unfair and ridiculous legislation come down to this: they should be ashamed. I believe everyone, Democrats included, who voted for this bill should have to watch what goes on in these murder factories in person. But I digress.

If you live in Iowa, please contact your state lawmakers to express your opposition to the bill. Everyone should visit Mercy for Animals to sign the statement against the legislation.
